The Victory Mixed Martial Arts training program is open to all Victory Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
students. The program is designed to prepare students to compete in MMA style competition;
however, no-one is required to compete in order to train. The program consists
of three separate components - MMA Striking/Conditioning, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA
Groundfighting. The guidelines for each component are listed below:

MMA Striking/Conditioning

Students may begin training in this class immediately upon enrollment. The striking
class meets once a week on Mondays with occasional extra classes added in. This
class is designed to introduce the students to striking concepts (to include punching,
kicking, the proper use of elbows and knees, defensive tactics and much more) from
Western Boxing, Muay Thai and Kickboxing. Students will work a variety of drills on focus
mitts, heavy bags and other traditional and non-traditional equipment, as well as
participate in controlled sparring sessions in and out of the octagon. The class will also
include conditioning drills to prepare students for the rigors of competition.
